WikiLeaksGate

Never in the history of American politics has there ever been wheeling-and-dealing in smoke-filled rooms. America is the model of democracy, and in every election, from dogcatcher to president, every element of the process has always been completely aboveboard.

That is why, when America’s economy is on the brink of total collapse, when Mexicans and Muslims are coming to kill us all, it’s staggering that the Democratic Party has chosen this moment to break the rules of the game. At least the Republican Party never has, and never will, try to cheat the system.

Excerpt from The New York Times:

Officials at several other firms that have examined the code for the malware used against the Democratic National Committee and the metadata of the stolen documents found evidence that the documents had been accessed by multiple computers, some with Russian language settings. Moscow has outsourced politically motivated hacking to outside groups in the past. A crippling attack on Estonia in 2007, for example, was attributed to the pro-Kremlin Nashi youth organization. Intelligence officials and security researchers believe this outsourcing is done, in part, to preserve a measure of plausible deniability.

Intrusions for intelligence collection are hardly unusual, and the United States often does the same, stealing emails and other secrets from intelligence services and even political parties. But the release to WikiLeaks adds another strange element, because it suggests that the intelligence findings are being “weaponized” — used to influence the election in some way. The story has another level of intrigue involving Mr. Manafort, Mr. Trump’s campaign chairman. Working through his lobbying firm, Mr. Manafort was one of several American advisers to Viktor F. Yanukovych, the Russian-backed leader of Ukraine until he was forced out of office two years ago. Mr. Yanukovych was a key Putin ally who is now in exile in Russia.

In April, asked on Fox News about his relationship with Mr. Yanukovych, Mr. Manafort said he was simply trying to help the Ukrainians build a democracy that could align more closely with the United States and its allies.

On November 8, vote for Donald Trump. After all, if he’s Vladimir Putin’s choice, he should be America’s too.

Make America Christian Again

If you don’t vote for Donald Trump for president you will go to hell.

Why does Trump represent Christianity? His views are God’s views. He wants to put up a wall between believers and unbelievers. He wants to cut taxes for the rich, so that we will render unto Caesar what is Caesar’s and render unto God what is God’s.

He wants to put an end to Planned Parenthood. Better for a million women to die of breast cancer by closing Planned Parenthood if it saves the life of one unborn baby. Better to enter into life with one eye than to be cast into a burning hell with two eyes.

God can’t bless this country. He wants to, but we won’t let him. We’re standing in his way. Only by voting for a true Christian will God open the floodgates of his blessings. Only then will we be free. And pure. And rich.

The God Participle

I’ve tried as hard as I possibly can to make peace with Christians, but they refuse to budge. With them, it’s faith or science. Pick one, because you can’t believe in both. Everything from creation to climate change falls to one side or the other. I can’t count the number of Christians I’ve come across that say – without apology or equivocation – that they don’t believe in science.

There are the laws of man, and then there are the laws of God. The laws of science are the laws of man. That’s not what I believe. That’s what Christians keep repeating to me like they were praying the Rosary or something. I may not be smart enough to bridge the chasm between faith and science, but I think these guys are more than qualified:

“I do not feel obliged to believe that the same God who has endowed us with sense, reason, and intellect has intended us to forgo their use.” – Galileo Galilei

“I want to know God’s thoughts; the rest are details.” – Albert Einstein

“There is a God shaped vacuum in the heart of every man which cannot be filled by any created thing, but only by God, the Creator, made known through Jesus.” – Blaise Pascal

“God created everything by number, weight and measure.” – Sir Isaac Newton

“All human discoveries seem to be made only for the purpose of confirming more strongly the truths, come from on high, and contained in the sacred writings.” – William Herschel

“God has to mean more to you than just where science has yet to tread.” – Neil deGrasse Tyson

Game of Thorns

Hamas is a terrorist organization. Let’s make that clear from the start. Gaza is the home to Palestinian refugees who have been all but cut off from the rest of the world. Life is misery for the population of Gaza, who want nothing to do with their Hamas overlords.

Israel refuses to accept a two-state solution, believing it has the God-given right to take back the Gaza strip, where those innocent refugees have lived and died under oppression for generations. Hamas, who does NOT speak for the refugee population, refuses to recognize Israel as a country.

The conflict in the Middle East is all Israel’s fault. The conflict in the Middle East is all Gaza’s fault. The conflict in the Middle East is all Obama’s fault.

There’s more than enough blame to go around. There are no good guys in this conflict. And as long as the politicians refuse to act like grown-ups, the innocent will continue to suffer and die:

Gaza City (Palestinian Territories) (AFP) – The Islamist Hamas movement fired more rockets at Israel Sunday, despite claims it had accepted a UN request for a 24-hour extension of a humanitarian truce in war-torn Gaza.

Hamas’s belated acceptance of diplomatic calls for a temporary ceasefire was announced several hours after Israel resumed a devastating military assault on the Palestinian enclave after a pause of more than 24 hours.

Although Hamas said its militants would halt their fire from 1100 GMT in response to a request from the United Nations, there was no response from Israel.

And rocket fire continued, with 22 striking the Jewish state after the reported truce went into effect, an army spokeswoman told AFP, adding that another five were intercepted.

“They are violating their own ceasefire,” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told the CNN news network.
